The show is inspired by real-life events and now-infamous pyramid schemes, seeking to answer the question: ‘Why do we fall for pyramid schemes?’ The show is framed by the insightful narration of Khosi’s only son, Moagi, which forms the backbone to guide the audience through a turbulent period during which mother, wife and school teacher Khosi makes decisions which affect her life – and the lives of all those around her.
“e.tv is excited to bring Easy Money to viewers’ screens, soon,” says e.tv Managing Director Marlon Davids. “Quizzical Pictures have worked tirelessly to deliver a high-quality and entertaining drama series that will entertain our viewers”.
Taking on the lead role of Khosi, a school teacher who enjoys a good standing in the community, is Xoli Zondi. Tumelo Don Mosenye will pl
